Veterans Care
Trifecta Home Care USA is affiliated with the VA Aid and Attendance Benefit program which is a supplemental VA pension that provides financial support to eligible veterans and surviving spouses who need assistance with daily living or have other qualifying medical conditions, helping them cover the costs of care and living expenses when they require help with daily living activities or are bedridden. This benefit provides an additional monthly payment, which can help cover home health care expenses.

ELIGIBILITY
Basic Pension Requirements: Veterans must generally have at least 90 days of active duty service, with at least one day during a wartime period, to qualify for a VA pension.
Additional Requirements: In addition to meeting the basic pension requirements, veterans must also meet one of the following conditions to be eligible for the Aid and Attendance benefit:
- Require assistance with activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
- You're at least 65 years old
- You have a permanent and total disability
- Be bedridden.
- Be a patient in a nursing home.
- Have limited eyesight (5/200 visual acuity or less in both eyes, or concentric contraction of the visual field to 5 degrees or less).
Income and Net Worth Limits: There are income and net worth limits for Aid and Attendance benefits.
Housebound benefits eligibility: You may be eligible for this benefit if you get a VA pension and you spend most of your time in your home because of a permanent disability.
Note: You can’t get Aid and Attendance benefits and Housebound benefits at the same time!!!
HOW IT WORKS

Supplemental Payment
Aid and Attendance benefits are paid in addition to the monthly VA pension.

Payment Amounts
The amount of the Aid and Attendance payment varies based on the veteran’s marital status and the need for care.

Housebound benefits eligibility
You may be eligible for this benefit if you get a VA pension and you spend most of your time in your home because of a permanent disability (a disability that doesn’t go away)

Usage
The Aid and Attendance benefit can be used to help offset the costs of various care expenses such as home care from our caregivers including any other in-home support.
Note: You can’t get Aid and Attendance benefits and Housebound benefits at the same time.
